The primer levels out irregularities and evens the surface. As a result, it provides the ideal base for the application of the basecoat color. The primer also protects the e-coat against UV radiation and guards the car from stone chips.
Our portfolio includes both solventborne and waterborne primers. Among the latest developments are a 2K waterborne, light conductive primer, and a solventborne, conductive primer for short processes in the plastic add-on parts segment. One of the most remarkable innovations is a thin-film primer based on waterborne technology. It was designed for extraordinary performance at low film thickness and guarantees highly efficient processes.
